But I have also heard of departments sending them out 15 minutes before hand. It all depends on HR’s guidance.
Our entire org knew it was coming and we had a good HRBP.
They should be sent by 8am if you are at WHQ. Every team member should be receiving one regardless if they are getting laid off or not. I had to send them out to over 300 team members 3 years ago. It was done over the span of 3 days. One department would go one day, and another department another day.
When I got laid off on May 15th, the invite came at around 6 AM that morning. My teammates also got invites with the same title, but we realized that they were all at different times. One of those teammates had theirs at 8 AM and texted us as it was happening to let us know they were being laid off, so the rest of us knew we were getting the axe one by one after that.
If anything like the past don’t be panicking if you get an invite cuz it could always be updates about a manager changing. Bros out here only thinking worst case.
Probably now for folks in ITC
I wouldn’t sleep if I were you
so classy!
the invite can come 15 mins before the meeting
Typically in the morning, you will get an invite for a 15-minute time slot.
