Company runs on fumes.

So many remote employees have received promotions this month. Those of you who didn't either need to continue the pursuit or give up. Stop whining like little b*tches.
As a former LOC employee who is now remote — I don’t give a single fu-k. I’ll never get promoted and I realize this, but the company also needs my knowledge. I’m gonna ride this out as long as they let me and god bless y’all with billing issues.
Even if you move yourself to a hub location you’re still consider remote.
It’s no secret. The plan has been hubs since 2012. We accelerated it a bit due to the pandemic but it is still the long range plan. You can still move to a hub on your own dime to make yourself more eligible for promotion.
The whole lack of promoting for remote/LOC people has become concerning. They aren’t even trying to hide the clear bias. It’s as obvious as 1+1 = 2. So what’s the end game here? Is it just purely expenses? Or is there a long term strategy to cut ties w remote folks later on so they don’t want to bring a bunch to the hubs?
It's who you know.
They had remote promotion positions but I don't know any LOC person who got one. I've had high ratings and performance for years and still got an impersonal rejection claiming other candidates better met their criteria. Guess it was due to being a former LOC employee. Only hub employees got promoted recently. Not sure why they post targeted positions anymore for LOC people. I know a few LOC people got promoted in 2021 but not lately
You would be shocked as to the amount of leadership at SF are self medicating. It's not only within the worker bees. It went from bad to worse starting in the 90s.
OP is on crack
Should read LOC employees fuming! Being overlooked for promotions left and right. Why? We don’t want to relocate you so we will promote some 7 year employee with zero insurance education or much less experience because uhhh subjectively they interviewed better. Give me an effing break. Oh and they fit the current desperate needs of our Execs…
I don’t follow….elaborate?
