Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Any layoffs coming or happening

Just want to know if anything in the works. I haven't seen any new bosses super excited. They rather look very nervous.

Managers in my department are always stressed because they were DEI hires (not race, I’m not sure any of them are qualified to be a manager let alone a “leader”). They’re stressed because they are dealing (rightfully so) with imposter syndrome

All the new boxes and CIO are indeed nervous.

Folks blaming level 8 and 9 managers should understand, level 9 managers are frustrated in corporate ELT's so it's coming all the way from the very top itself.

Fall is going to be a blood bath

Would be nice to see some diversity hiring in Tech. Almost everyone getting hired is Indian.

Recent Ames decision will be in play at Fidelity.
