Anyone have discussions with manager about not meeting the 3 day a week requirement on RTO? Did they mention it was a warning or the consequences for not meeting 3 days a week?

Why is my performance based on complying with coming into a sh---y office where I can’t think straight when my coworkers who happen to live a little further from the office are allowed to remain fully remote?"
@p7+1jx3f2k30 something tells me it IS a setup for a wide scale RIF that is coming in 2025/26. Everyone remote is automatically put on the chopping block as non-team players or some kind of BS. So take heart in that you are at least safe that way (if you still want to work for this sh---y org ... )
Quite a few people within HR were hired under the guise of "moments that matter". Just come in for special events. That promise got thrown out the door with RTO. I would not have changed employers had I known it was a fake promise to recruit talent. Thanks Elfio!
At least you'll be able to move positions if you opt to stay. Your colleagues who are remote will be stuck in those roles until they're laid off of quit. It shouldn't be like this, but at least you have options.

Its insanity to expect employees who we hired to work remote and took the job for that reason to come into an office where no one from their team is there and even if there, dont communicate and then others on that same team get to remain remote due to geography. Yeah sure some will pretend and follow rules but they are miserable just like the rest of us. Unhappy workers aren't productive caring workers.
@bh Many employees were hired as home based employees.
I worked from my home office for 14 years before being asked to work in hub 3 days a week.
There’s increased focus on it and they’re planning on giving warnings for those not complying. That was based on a call I was on with a vice chair.
@OP The expectations are the same for everyone - three days (or more, lol) in office per week or you will face disciplinary action including, but not limited to, performance plans and reducing rating at annual review time that will impact any merit or bonus you might otherwise be awarded.
Enforcement of those expectations is entirely separate and inconsistent across managers. Your experience if you're not meeting expectations will depend on who your manager is.
You're close to retirement and showing up in the office is suddenly a deal breaker? Please. What have you been doing for the last 40 years?
I have been going in 1 day a week, have not been questioned yet, but only started RTO after annual review, so don’t know if I will get in trouble.
But I am not wasting 2 hours a day of my life commuting , 6 hours wasted a week.
I am close to retirement, so f it
