I wish they’d get rid of my RVP (Alabama) He micromanages everything to death. Makes the manager(s) spend more time on calls trying to explain why they (the store) didn’t get the credit/emails needed the day before. Wastes hours and hours of time with unnecessary text, emails and teams meetings, trying to hold people accountable by using strong arm tactics to push credit and email capture is just unbearable. He wants people written up for not making customers apply for credit. He is condescending and pits managers against other managers by saying things like why can’t you be like so-and-so?! How hard is it to get an email? How hard is it to get people to apply for credit? How do you make people apply for credit when everyone knows that synchrony is the worst credit card company out there?! He is no help with freight when they’re pushing two trucks a week and you have three people to process and no floor coverage. Comes down on you like a freight train if you can’t get the hundred items they ask of you each day to get done and then corporate changes their mind three days later because sales are slow.. It’s a waste of time, it’s a waste of effort and it is a toxic workplace. If I didn’t need a paycheck, I would not be here and I’m constantly looking for something else and I’m a manager. When I told my RVP that my contract is for 45 hours a week. He laughed and said you have to work at least 60 to make the store run. I don’t get paid enough to give up my life for this store. I know for sure he’s trying to fire me. I could use the unemployment and a break. 💯 do not recommend

They work from home and only go to same stores every 6 months that are doing well so they can justify what they dont do from home. Smh. A certain GVP needs to go too. The store associates carry belk. These wfh dummies cant do squat.
