Thread regarding Morgan Stanley layoffs

Working nights and weekends for months

Why are we not backfilling any positions? I don't know how much longer I can keep this up, and I can tell you that this is not what I signed up for. If I pull back and just do what I can in my regular hours, what are the chances I'll be fired? Or put on the next layoffs list?

The honest answer is here you sort of put yourself into the position you are in if you are burning the candle at both ends.

Set boundaries for yourself and work. If I feel even the slightest burnout I just stop. I know I am a high producer employee so I am not worried about taking time for myself.

To be honest even with all that extra work you are doing there is absolutely no guarantee you won't be next anyway. Do not give more than you are willing to because they certainly won't.

At this stage of the game, I wouldn’t mind making the layoff list.

Everyone says AI should help with your productivity, seems to be not the case.
