No compensation will be high enough for this guy as he will likely be fed cartoon numbers to deal with and make important judgements by. Feel sorry for what he stepped into.

Vehicle breakdowns are being reported then later mysteriously disappearing is not truthful. Maintenance employees properly report them, but it is up to supervisors (who receive stock options if they can make numbers fit in) to get correct numbers to Execs/CEO/boards. This is how UPS gets cheated with too many garbage repair parts bills.

Tariffs are stomping out package volume. UPS wastes money buying cheap short term vehicle parts under the control of low end management so they can meet "numbers" to be paid a stock option/bonus-not caring this strategy causes constant repeat purchases and loss of hard earned revenue and time. Customers falling away due to "rural deferral" where UPS stores packages until load big enough to deliver. Yep, the time is perfect to bring in someone on board with too many obligations already.

how about a tree with new crazy green/sprouts that actually grow spontaneous ideas? not just another "numbers" person. ups may have a decline in volume, but the healthcare deliveries are exciting. bring more freshness. skip dead branches.

Deadwood. Has no package delivery experience. Are there not already enough petrified wood company spots taken up. How about someone who knows the business and is not on several boards already so that UPS is the main focus. He is already on the board for General Mills and Whirlpool. Leaves no time left to focus on UPS.
