They are getting off easy if it is just 8% cut, with such poor performance over last few quarters...
Agree DCAI head need to be the first to go . Where does Intel find these people to lead critical Orgs, next to go should be useless made up roles like chief people's officer and such if you fire these people Intel will do better next year

Any news about STAG?
DCAI's head needs to be cut first.
Optane unit?
Yes she verbally stated ~800 , and they will be informed by Jan 15..
My thoughts are, she is understating the actual count.
Be careful not to release Intel confidential information... Such as the specific number, division and initials of the GM.
The GM isn't hard to find, how many in the management team have initials you listed? (1)

Need deeper cuts & strategy reset if the company is to survive & thrive. Peanut butter cuts across all businesses without any 'strategic' cuts such as eliminating bad businesses will be a death by a thousand cuts.
She didn't say ~1000, she literally said "about 800"
It's a little less than 8% of DCAI's headcount.
Datacenter and AI (DCAI) is poorly managed, so I would not be surprised.
She said 800, not 1000.
How reliable is this info?
Can someone expand.
