@bp+1jwsa4txe
I have noticed the middle and upper management at Chevron are good at flashy PowerPoint slides declaring victory on expensive projects and then they throw the project over the fence to another team to support and cleanup. Then the managers move on to a new flashy and expensive project to do the same thing over again.
In IT there is an initiative to create workflows so the low cost geographies can work efficiently and Chevron It can reduce costs. I believe this is a great idea and should be performed. However, I see the names of the flag waving managers on the project teams and I believe the workflows will be light in substance and weak in implementation. Then they will throw it over the fence for the MSP's and Engine to implement and support. In a few years, LC will wonder why it's not working like the PowerPoint slides the workflows would improve efficiently. Then they will continue to tell everyone the improvements were made while the customer's suffer. Too funny!

It's absurd that those who consistently failed to deliver on IM&T projects have walked into cushy Digital Core roles, while the people who cleaned up their messes are now going to be unemployed. Apparently, in ABU IS, bluster and entitlement are valued more than actual competence or integrity.

Remember this thing was called LEAP and AG was the head of it… a decade later, we’ve spent like several billions on what’s really just an SAP upgrade LOL
