Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

How is the new CMO doing? coming up on 12 months

June is hiring season for CMOs at DXC.

Our latest CMO, Kaveri Camire, was announced on June 3, 2024. Before her we had Mary. And before her, we had Brenda Tsai who announced as CMO on June 10, 2021 and she lasted 13 months

So . . . how is it going so far? Any big wins?

Funny thing about stock options. The stock has to actually rise for the options to be worth anything - a significant increase.

They don't have to be - can be set at a exercise price of anything, say $1, then you get granted 500K say of these options and 12 or 24 months later you can exercise them and make a hefty sum, even if the share price is say only $8 at that time

Not good but as well as all the other CEO hires who he has put in positions they are not qualified for. Seriously… none of the people he brought in would stand a chance landing roles they have at competitors. Our results show it.

Everything marketing posts or advertises is to promote the cmo and she doesn't know what we do. She is promoting herself instead of our thought leaders and our people who actually talk to our clients to figure out how to help our clients. Her language is 100% generic marketing speak. At ibm the cloud and infrastructure services businesses (that were not sent to kyndryl) that she was the head of marketing was not a player in their industry.

New Chief HR is equally invisible since Finch got kicked out. “We will agressively apply AI in HR.” was her last sign of life and long ago. Have you observed anything at all? Did you see any realizations so far of Chief Administration Officer, Chief Procurement Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Whatever Officer?

A Turkish proverb goes "When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn’t become a king. The palace becomes a circus."

The silence is deafening...

However, recent word salad from her, on how AI is going to change everything in DXC, can be perused here:-
