Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Safety

The Safety issues going on due to this massive layoff and the previous layoff should be enough to get MW fired but no one one is paying attention. Anyone from the outside?

No one really cares about safety, its all just smoke and mirrors.

MW has never cared about safety. He cares about $’s.

Don’t worry. Many of the safety jobs are being sent to India. That will fix things.

Anyone who thinks layoffs and safety aren’t correlated either doesn’t do any meaningful work here or hasnt seen the statistics

Chevron has always touted S@fety inside and out - but it has gone downhill in the last year with internal and external layoffs! Some of the consultants that had helped them have a good safety record - they dished them. Look at the messin CO at Bishop well a huge liability currently-and for years to come - that is why they are flooding the CO tv with all kinds of "feel good" ads-sorry we know what kind of a company CVX is - greedy!
