Why hasn’t the company issued any statements to employees? There is a video circulating on what to say. But will they share that one person was missing for 13 hours before they noticed he was gone? I hope there is an outside investigation, lots of red flags with this incident. Not to mention Colorado. When you no longer value human energy and human loss becomes okay, you know it’s bad. They are in panic mode. Media and regulators are you watching? Anyone?

What? Really ? That actually kind of makes sense hearing the back story
Some people were saying it was intentional
So what’s happening with the Ames drunk driver AT who ki-led that college kid?
Any updates on AT in Ames?
What are people saying at the office? Somebody spill the beans
AT in Ames has a history of drinking at work events. This was reported to HR. She also has a history of poor behavior with male coworker while drinking and HR hasn’t taken action. Unfortunately this could have been prevented if they had. I hope the family pursues this.
Ames was the new energies vp’s personal assistant blazing into a college aged kid on her way home from the company party
This is just another form of headcount reduction..figuratively and literally
Ames story highlights drinking at company event & fatal outcome. A.T. reports to S.O. REG. Did nobody notice A.T.’s intoxicated state before she got behind the wheel of her vehicle? Why didn’t they use Uber or other form of transportation? What drove A.T. to drink to the point of impairment? What kind of culture exists in Ames to enable this?
Here’s one of the articles:

Was there an OE incident in Ames? Is there a plant there?
The incident is in the news if you search for it but it’s been quiet in the news. Somehow they are keeping it under wraps.
Uncle Chevron stopped sharing safety incidents details outside of projects or areas a long time ago. Best you will bet is a watered down generic word of mouth summary. Ridiculous, but in today's legalistic world, that is how it is.
Holy sh-t. There needs to be a corporate wide safety stand down.

What happened in Ames?
Hopefully the many, many HSE jobs being sent to India will fix this.
The new organization structure will make us safer.
It will all be cloaked in attorney-client privilege and investigation conducted by internal folks outside the business unit.
Hopefully Angola as the host country conducts their own investigation but doubtful they have the expertise or the will. Heck, even in the U.S., OSHA has been defanged. Drill Baby Drill
