You're right with everything you said. We should all find happiness in what we do. I think that's why I truly came to bpx, or at least that is what I was sold at the time of my interview. Bpx has potential, big time potential. But not with ja----s leaders acting straight like they walked in from Frat Row. Not with inexperienced middle management. And certainly not from any DEI folks.
So, why I'm staying?...$$$ and benefits. Why am I not leaving?...E&Ps have still but exited Denver. The last major, Chevron, is even closing their doors this year when the DJ is one of their biggest cash cows!!! What used to be an industry rich city has now consolidated to Houston thanks to the last 10 years of unfavorable politics in Colorado. Denver is a non-investment O&G state. We're lucky to have this office here, period.
