If ever there was an opportunity to create an ILEC market in a current CLEC market for pennies on the dollar this would be it. Bluebird has the high bid right now and Windstream probably doesn't even this asset is for sale cheap if it can happen quickly. Tons of backbone fiber in Illinois and lighting up all this FTTH would be quick and cheap!

@OP I don’t think unity is going to want to be in the ilec business. They definitely won’t want to keep that union contract. Is that contract ibew or cwa?
