Look at the open positions. Over 1,100 on the board. Only 45 are onshore here in the US. Not even 1% of the jobs are US anymore.

This is false. There are many job postings in US. How stable they are remains to be seen.
Many , if not most international students receive their education here and then go back to their home to support their own countries. Stop with the ethnocentrism.
@OP they must’ve changed that after the post because I went out there after I saw this post and I counted around 45 as well.
I’m not sure what job board you’re looking at but there are far more than 45 onshore jobs.

Maybe we can all work in construction and food service jobs since white collar jobs are gone.
