Thread regarding USAA layoffs

June 2 - PTO for all

All non-executive and non-managerial employees should take a PTO day (sick day) at the SAME time. June 2 seems like a good day. Your employment will be cut sooner or later. So why not have a little fun. Who knows. Maybe the execs will learn how to do some real work that actually benefits someone else besides themselves. Time for them to leave their towers and actually work in the trenches.

I had a great parking sport and a shorter coffee line.

Well, how did it go? Did you take the day off? If you did, we didn't miss you. You showed them!

If you have no problem doing something that could lead to your termination, then why are you still working there? You state that "Your employment will be cut sooner or later", so why not leave and find a better job that caters to what you want in your career?

This needs to be an actual protest with stated reasons or it won't accomplish anything, much like Amazon employees' "strike" in which they left after lunch on a Friday.
