Dankberg has been the problem for years. All he gives a S about is satellites, at the expense of all other business areas. He bet the house on VS3 and lost. Viasat will continue to exist till someone thinks they are worth buying.
It's a lucrative retirement hobby for him. Nice gig.
MD thinks a lot of things that don't come out well. Of note in the article, it appears AST has learned how to develop and unfurl complex antennas.
