Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

The Chevron Way

Dear Colleagues,

Chevron’s reputation is built on cutting corners and getting ahead however we can. Today, I want to encourage you to focus less on integrity and more on enjoying some downtime with your friends and colleagues over beer and hotdogs.

Forget about reporting anything suspicious through the Chevron Hotline or going through the proper channels—who needs that? If you see something that doesn’t feel right, just keep it to yourself or chat about it casually with your team. After all, who cares about the law or company policies when there's fun to be had?

Don't bother reporting any violations to your supervisor, the Law Department, or anyone else who might care. Retaliation isn’t something to worry about—let’s just keep it low-key and avoid all the red tape.

Let’s prioritize having a good time, not protecting our reputation or delivering results the "right" way.

Mike

I’d rather Mike Honcho be in charge.
