Belk like so many other retailers do no care about their employees.
While they reduce store operating hours, they increase work loads demand Credit Card. Then they sit in their big nice offices and take money from us hardworking, under appreciated, over worked employees.
Belk is going downhill fast. All because of Corp that doesn't have a clue what's truly going on.

That’s news to be- is that the story they are running with the skirt accountability with the FTC?
They ALL WORK FROM HOME... WHAT OFFICES? RVPS GVPS REGIONALS ETC WORK FROM HOME!! but how when the systems dont work because of the " let go" tech employee that hacked and crashed the system? So they get paid to do ZERO WORK.. all above store level are useless. period.

Why have an RTO and have to cram in a single wing of the building if belk can’t afford the lease? That shows right there that the purpose of the RTO order was a sneaky way to lay people off.
Corporate is in just as bad of shape. They are all cramped in a single wing of the building bc Belk cant afford the lease. Entire system was hacked and atill not back up completely after 2 weeks. Laid off dozens and now can't keep the people left- planners are quitting left and right and no one is moving back to CLT in Aug for RTO - they have NO idea some of the senior people who are applying for other jobs right now, senior and VP levels, haha. Don and MAM are sinking the ship
They know better than the store's....they are limping along just like you. I'm sure they are not filling jobs, restrictive travel and presure to ensure each buy is profitable...imagine the Hr nightmare....they know a store can't run on 700 hours but they have no choice on that budget
Im sure they have a clue of whats going on , They just dont care - Plain and Simple!
