I come here to see that people have been laid off in some groups, and yet we heard nothing about it officially. None of us had any idea, and cuts were happening. This is not the first time this has happened. Now it is not enough to have to worry about regular layoffs, but we have to worry about this cr-p as well?

They don't have to worry about WARN notices too.
Oracle never comment when they don’t have to. They will do continual small regular layoffs to avoid this. They regularly do layoffs if miss fiscal quarter projections and then do cheaper rehires soon after. They're happy for employees to get burnt out and repeatedly offer no comp or bonus despite good performance. They often award blanket poor performance to avoid paying out or as a preemptive strike. Can imagine it will only get worse as AI unleashed!
