Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

FAA comm outages and WIndstream

Any follow-up on the FAA tower outages - I know firsthand Windstream did some builds on these systems. Admittedly I do no know if it was tied to when we installed manufacturer discontinued products into these systems and is the reason I am asking. Chuck might know.

Figure I better hold people hands a bit tighter - since they let the smart ones go.
The ONS 15454 can terminate T1 circuits, providing a means to connect to legacy telephone networks or other devices that utilize T1.

I know first hand of a circuit for the FAA in Oklahoma that's old school T1 copper.A Cisco 15454 would be an upgrade. But you do you boo.

Quit with the speculation, Drama Queen. The FAA's infrastructure is old and in a state of "upgrading." The recent issues were caused by software faults, within their own, internalized, systems.
