I ran into someone who mentioned that DXC was losing a lot of money trying to support AT&T's Power Edge servers and delivering poor service quality. Can anyone here shed a little light on this? In particular I'd like to understand when this contract was bid and if the new bookings that DXC has signed in GIS will resemble ATT? I've heard similar stories about Intermountain Mountain health so any info there would be appreciated too.

And they got su-k with Moneyball assets that were way over provisioned for what they really needed. A true Cluster fuge
@kp+1jvp5zexk I think it's something else then... They guy I was talk with mentioned work that DXC is currently doing with AT&T. I think its part of the contract won in 2023.
That whole fiasco was classic doomed CSC style. Aka outsource the entire network tower to AnT and anT and make an outsourcing deal to support their IT assets.
That network outsourcing to AT T was living he-l to the rest of the towers and to accounts who really wanted to serve their customers and renew their contracts.
.... Reason prevailed and the network tower was insourced.
ATT will have been ages ago
Well for one thing the account is running out of date OS with no support from
the vendor and won’t pay DXC to upgrade
