How is this even happening. Reading so many posts that us jobs are being replaced with the Philippines and India. There should be strict regulations on sending patients sensitive information over.

Our government allows it! There will be few jobs left after offshore and Ai. I see universal income in the near future as this is not sustainable.
The commen onts about offshoring all these US jobs being wrong is absolutely correct. ALL companies doing so should be taxed/ made to pay high fees for doing so. It's also wrong that they've shared PPI/PHI, banking account numbers, etc. of our members with some of the worst known scammer countries. Where is the transparency to the members? They have not provided communications to our members informing them about these very wrong decisions. I have also experienced calling member services or IT Help only to hear many kitchen noises or animal noises or the agent talking to family members instead of paying attention and assisting me. (Not just Elevance Health, but also Humana for a family member.) Do better Elevate Health. Your members & onshore associates deserve better!
45 needs to add tariffs to company’s that are offshoring.
It's everywhere it seems. I retired becuz I saw the writing on the wall with my future with Helavance. Now I have my Medicare with UHC and their customer service/advocates are not located in the USA. Had a phone call with a rep who obviously works at home. He did not put me on mute.and heard children in the background as well as a female talking in another language. I called UHG customer service back to file a grievance. Doubt anything will happen. We should all be worried about our personal information going overseas
And people wonder why cybercrime is so high.

Groups can specify that they don't want their member's data worked offshore. Of course there's an extra charge for that, but at least it's an option.
