Unfortunately, Chevron is no longer interested in developing IT skills outside of a few areas. The focus is reducing costs and nothing else - not developing highly tech resources. That will be the responsibility of ENGINE and our MSP partners. Not sure why we even need a CIO anymore.

It's never been more clear u.s. careers are dead here. Even if you survive this round, being able to move around the company in the future will be hard, they won't backfill, and as soon as they can more teams will be sent to Manilla, BA, and India.
