Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

I’ve loved my job in coaching for nearly ten years and would have retired here. Now we’re being told we will get letters that our jobs are disappearing and can accept a new job but is taking all calls on a queue including crisis calls. Teams of people that have worked Mon through Fri day hours for years told schedule changes every other month different start times and evenings, some weekends. I feel bad for our customers, everyone is quitting as soon as they find something new. Horrible of our leadership doing this to people, just to get us to quit and not pay severance, that’s what this is about I think . What happened to this company?

My experience is unless you go along with the leadership you are blackballed and lose your job. We all just nod with a smile on our face and hope someone figures out it’s all smoke and mirrors and more jobs are moved off shore.

What happened to customer service? The leadership. Noelle hiring her friends who don’t understand healthcare or the basics of running call centers. It’s time for someone to clean house and restore competence before more damage is done.
