There seriously are fixed equipment inspector roles listed for India on the public cvx job site.
I can't think of any equipment needing inspection in India so maybe the plan is to send these guys out to the US and other locations for inspections.
Perhaps they will try to use B-1 visas, which cover meetings and negotiations. Imo, inspections count as paid, regular work, especially when that is their job title, and would not fall under the B-1 visa.
I will most definitely be sending a note to ICE to be looking for this. Poor chumps are going to end up in detention facilities for months.
