There’s no one to sell it to. Every major health insurer is under performing, being sued by the DOJ, in turmoil at the leadership level, etc.

My daughter was just laid off last week... after a year and a half and like 30 calls a day for California individual, small and large groups. She was amazing and received constantly high reviews. So when they gave her really no reason for letting her go and 5 days to send in her equipment, yeah. Kind of sad for her. We figure she just wasn't senior enough, or maybe Anthem has exceeded a representative number of Native American employees... 😑 or her manager used old school reasons, like my daughter doesn't have dependents... sigh. No severance. No warning. She's lucky we are able to step in and assist with her transition to a new job.
Where is there ANY loyalty or accountability to employees? Companies like Anthem demand total dedication, but provide no security. Healthcare in general is such a demanding and abusive task-master.
Disappointed in Anthem

Eliminating a lot of positions and bringing contractors in to complete the work up until 2026.
