What do the nontechnical “Application Engineers” who click buttons in SAP and say they’re “engineers” despite all being business folk do then? Damn, they’re cooked huh.
feel bad for the SWE's that werent doing anything SWE related. no way they qualify for any of these swe positions.
How are incoming new grad SWEs affected? Is there a chance they will rescind the offers that were extended and accepted back in September?

I’m a psg 19 software engineer. There’s less than 10 total jobs for like 100 people in horizons
HONESTLY... If you think Software Engineers are going to be plentiful.. you did not do you homework. Most apps do not need custom web anymore. - even our selection app is a Power (low code) . - while the central API team is bloated and mostly useless wrappers fo.... we are SaaS and tons of SaaS just needs data person to get that data out... data is pushed through the lake and that is how data is moved and consumed
My rep has over 30 employees…I didn’t even see 30 swe positions. And that’s just one rep..RIP it was fun while it lasted guys & gals lol
