I remember the genius leaders years ago saying that China was too big a market to ignore and we had to hand over our IP to our, now, economic adversaries to make sure we could be a part of it. “BRIC! BRIC! BRIC!” was their naive and foolish rallying cry. When I asked how much of the profit would come back to the U.S. they gave a nervous non-answer and you could see on their faces it was all bullsh-t. Same timeframe that they were telling us that switchgrass ethanol production was going to be game changing.
