Unloading empty offices isn't suspicious on its own with WFH but we had the reorg earlier this year, they just pulled out of the stadium name deal and canceled the all employee meeting as well as some smaller meetings. Anyone else feel like something is going to be announced soon?

Centene won't be sold as a whole--something called anti-trust--but parted out like an old car. All those businesses MFN picked up and failed to integrate --most are on the block.
I think the changes are due to MFN not driving the bus anymore. Lots of expensive decision making.
As for being for sale, the SEC has blocked mega mergers in the MCO space before to avoid monopolies (Aetna tried to buy Humana, for example). I can’t imagine an approval for one MCO to buy Centene as a whole.
I don’t see how any of that would be signs that they are going to sell? Meetings cancel all the time?
OP I hope you stretched before you made that reach
Sounds like reasonable ways to save money. What good does having "Centene" on a stadium do? Few people outside of St. Louis even know who Centene is. They only recognize their local health plan names. So save those millions and do something more productive with it.
Based on the very shortsighted people management that has been seen in corp quality, I’d say there has been a plan in place to reduce ranks without paying severance. The leadership there has run everyone out of that dept like it was their mission, and no one has done anything about the multiple grievances, conflicts of interest, and mass exits so I would say there is some level of intentionality in thinning the ranks. Makes the SG&A lower and reduces “synergy” for the new organization.
