Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Microsoft Layoffs

Microsoft Layoffs today show the dire state of corporate world. Lot of devs involved in the core development of compilers were let go as well. Imagine if you are laid off and supposed to complete with the employees of Amazon and MS. Buckle up guys.

i’m in IT and i understand very well what the OP implies.

i was laid off and still looking for a job and it doesn’t help that most job listing that matches my credentials has 1,203 people who have also submitted their application which is most likely from all ofher companies who were also laid off. so yeah, competition is fierce and availabality of jobs is scarce specially since most jobs are now outsource in india or being replaced by Ai
