Which sites have started requiring associates to badge OUT of the office

Swiping out is not such a big deal. My dad’s assisted living facility makes him check in and out at the front desk every time. Maybe ELV is just trying to keep us from wandering off.
Ohio does NOT badge out. At least not in Cincinnati or Mason.
I think they need to find better things to do than track their employees swiping in and out like common criminals. Might as well make everyone wear an ankle monitor. Great way to respect well educated adults. Putting fear in your employees is such a great motivator SLT.
Corporate office in Indy is getting one. Just got an email.
Badge out for "safety reasons" - that is hysterical - worked here for 15 + yrs - before Covid was in the office all the time - no badge out - guess they didn't care about my "safety" then. This cracks me up -
Indy, Atlanta, NYC, DC are the only four pulse points having associates badge out. Makes sense to me for safety reasons. I’ve work in other large companies and it’s common.
Already confirmed that New York,
And Ohio to scan out. Doesn’t matter if they track your IP address biggest thing is if you have to scan out any other updates?
if you work in a certain Line of Business - you can be sure a VP is having a report run for her every week - she loves to micromanage line staff -- she is currently listening to calls, looking at various metric reports and asking questions of managers - has been doing it for years - RTO will give her another thing to "dig deep and find out what is going on" - most toxic environment ever - staff are miserable but not as much as managers ....yet
Glad I left before RTO. Good luck.
@as+1 - How many hours are we productively working or how many hours are we connected to the office network? A big difference because we are being forced into the office to socialize and 'collaborate' with people we don't already know and people we don't work with. So, for me, they are lucky to get two hours of productive work out of my four hours of being connected to the network while at the office. Working at home, they were getting 10 plus hours of productive work daily out of me. Not anymore!!!!
I was told the office network connection information is available for the manager to get if they want to go after you for some reason. That data is not on the basic badge swipe report produced. So, if you are a manager favorite, you have nothing to worry about right now. If you p_ss off your manager, then watch out!
Do you really think they are tracking how long your IP address is connected to an office?
I know several people that have been swiping and walking right back out of the office without connecting their computer and they have never showed up on the report that HR provides managers.
How many hours are y’all working?
They can already tell when you are connected to the office network.
The last time I had to punch in and out was back in 1986 when we got paid for all hours over 40. Wow, what progress EH is making with these moves. So much for being treated like professional adults.
ELT is an abomination.
Atlanta has it now. Had to start badging out last week.
NYC just got exit readers installed
Honestly it doesn't even matter. My boss said they will track your IP address anyhow to see how long we were there.
