RTO is coming - “additional workspaces” in PulsePoints

Just received email from Corporate Real Estate: “To continue improving your workplace experience, we’ll be updating your PulsePoint over the next few weeks to include additional workspaces for you”

DO NOT QUIT! I repeat - DO NOT QUIT over RTO changes. MAKE THEM FIRE YOU! Then file for unemployment and contest any rejections by EH. They want us to quit. Don't give them the easy way out. Make them go through the aggravation of firing you if you can't find a fully remote position soon. Why would anyone be worried about being rehired into such a sc--wed up toxic work environment???

Maybe you should time travel back to 1940 where your ideas belong. In 2025 we work on laptops that can be used anywhere. If my work is being done and our projects are being delivered what business do you have telling me what to do in between that time? I spent more time staring at my phone at the office than I do at home.
You cant create more work when you're already skimming for it to begin with.

Maybe we all should return five days. I have coworkers that openly share they only work 3-5 hours a day and do house projects during the day. That is kind of sad that people are so unmotivated. Work is work.

This is crazy how rumors start. It’s a fact that ONLY people managers will return to the office three days a week. If someone is virtual today, they will stay virtual. If someone is hybrid one (1-2 days per week) at the people manager level they will be moved to hybrid two (3 days per week) at the people manager level. PEOPLE STOP WORKING YOURSELF UP AND OTHERS.

if you are WAH now you will be in the office 5 days a week by the end of the year - if you are not near a pulse point - you will be Rifed - plain and simple - all levels - line staff - my spouse and I both work from home - this will force us to buy a second car - since we currently only have one - I am less than 50 miles but with constant construction my commute is almost 2 hrs. I will quit - and I know for a fact I am not alone - lots of people are making plans.

Who didn't see this coming, Nostradamus?

We are monitored, have production numbers to meet, and when COVID hit the everyone…. We didn’t skip a beat….. kept processing claims right on schedule….. how soon we forget. Working from home is the ONLY benefit we have left.

They can plan on me coming back after working from home 18+ years, make workspace, spend money…..but I will quit, I will not go back….

Are they renting trailers to be used as temporary office space?

@bp+1 It is all over the place. That is why this is so sc--wed up. Some fought HR faking medical reasons why they couldn't report into an office. Some are being 'exempt' because their bosses like them and are getting them off the hook. Just like everything else at this company, the rules are never applied consistently which is why it is such a toxic work environment. Blame that on management. Some people at the 50 mile/1 hour commute limit are made exempt (grandfathered) and others are driving well over 1 hour each way and are being forced to report into their assigned PulsePoint location. Like everything else at this company, it is just F_d up!

I don't get how some individuals never worked at home period prior to covid. They are now sitting at home do not go in period. I have been home for years by meeting specific criteria however required to go in weekly now. WTH is wrong with this picture???

How long does it take them to process an insubordination complaint and actually fire someone for not going into the office three days a week? I want to burn some more PTO before it happens. :)
