What do we think of Hemsley?

The best years of the company were under Hemsley so there’s that, but he was sued for insider trading so there’s that. Please bring back the culture, Steve 🙏
I got laid off when Wichman was CEO, so I beg to differ
I so so wish Wichmann was brought back. He was wonderful and truly cared about employees and others
You may recall that I posted a couple of months ago that I would be laying of Witty. When he was brought in, it was well known that the largest fraud in pharma history was committed under his leadership at GSK.
Witty is a snake and was responsible for getting Wichmann fired.
Steve Hemsley is well-intentioned. He is rather introverted, but a straight sho-ter (if we exclude the part of him getting his daughter a job at Optum LS).
I worked at the company under Hemsley for a few years and it was a good experience, to be honest.
To quote another Brit: "Oh no, anyway."
He said he is a Senior Advisor to Hemsley. So he is still here
Guarantee he still gets a major pay out.
By Laid off you mean "VOTED OFF" by the board. aka FIRED..... curious how Hemsley will steer this ship now.
Don’t worry about Sir Witless. He will be just fine
I really like Hemsley.
One tu-d is just as smelly as the next
If you compare the CEO of UNH and CEO of other companies like John Bogel, Warren Buffet, Tim Cook, Sataya Nadela etc, you see obvious differences.
This old a$$ motherf----rHamster has absolutely no integrity.
A lawsuit was filed against Hemsley, then UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, and two other senior executives in May 2024 for alleged fraud and insider trading due to failing to disclose an antitrust investigation into the company by the United States Department of Justice and by selling stock options before the probe was made public.
Not “laid off”, he got fired.
