Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

We are changing the name of GIS

As if that magically going to fix everything.

"Were going to be closer to the client", are they going to get rid of all those middle managers who keep putting the blocks in?

The previous CEO made all the same noises, reducing the layers and getting closer to the client but the layers actually got wider.

All talk nothing will change.

Because change gives the illusion of progress.

Don't know how to grow the business? Make changes so that you're seen to be doing something......

They should have changed to PIS, cause the tower leaders are that. They just love shrinking the company and taking big pay.

Drummer has added another 2 layers in the last year to justify his existence the funny sounding englishman, and his indian partner been recent layers.

How many layers can they grow it? Not how they can grow the revenue.

Actually the delayering stopped when Lawrie left. It was an expensive mckinsey idea that just was endless expense with no actual end goal. Under salvino they at least stopped paying mckinsey but also started adding more and more back. Raul has only accelerated that too.

Hard to be closer to the client when you ship all the work thousands of miles away, and you don't have any local offices to actually meet with clients.
