FTE - Hiring freeze?

Will there be exceptions, so we can recruit? Anyone from management share insights?

They want to see if we can redeploy existing talent.

There's definetely a hiring freeze, our VP acknowledged it openly in our last town hall. Yes, there are exceptions, but they are few and far between. Basically, unless your area is completely burning to the ground, you're dealing with it as it is for the near future. And even if it is burning, they seem content to let certain things burn.

There is no hiring freeze, but there are not many openings.

There are plenty of exceptions being made every day. The C-suite has to approve them.
