That’s what I’ve been hearing. Honestly, I wouldn’t be too upset if I were let go with a decent severance package.

RIF was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was a tough blow to the ego at first, but I’m loving my life now. For those who are scared, just know life doesn’t end at this company. You may just end up getting your life back!
You receive 2 weeks severance for every year employed here in the US, you can not claim unemployment during the time you are being paid for irregardless of when the severance is paid out to you. Found out the hard way.
I was RIFd with less than a weeks notice after being here 17 years. I worked 3 days after my notice and I was unable to login, my severance was paid in one lump sum on my next scheduled check. Paid this way taxes ki-led me, COBRA insurance wasn’t affordable either.
The figures mentioned for these redundancy packages really have me thinking I should stick it out, even if it's another few years. But if 2/3 turns to 5 and then I'm 50, I'm restricting my options post Allstate. Decisions...
I'd happily take 9 months Payoff. I've heard a few higher (and a few lower) but 9 is good.
Still no idea what I want to do for career when I grow up mind you...I'm 43 now
I got laid off from Ani - got about 9mts of pay when I signed the compromise agreement - If anyone is wondering what the package is like. A few grand more than statutory really....
Sad it’s come to this
Anyone know what the redundancy package looks like from ANI? Statutory pay su-ks.
I think these layoffs just another phase of the layoffs that started 2023 and will continue into next year (and beyond if eventual endgame is ANI goes away).
I'm hoping to squeeze out a few more years, make most of work/life balance when can and take some measures to improve skills for when the day comes. Some payoffs sound excellent.
A lot of Allstaters are hoping for a package. Not many really want to work here anymore. But there are a lot vested here long enough that just walking away in most cases is not a true option.
I’ve been waiting for 5 years!!
