Well good for you, who cares?
I'm an hourly worker, and I'm not sure if I'm just lucky, but I want to share some hopeful news for others. I receive my paycheck every Wednesday at exactly 10 PM, so I can rely on it. My recent check arrived on time(yesterday ) and was about the same amount as usual.
My pay stub in Workday has the correct amount of hours. I am part time and use reflexis for all my punches until this past Sunday when that stopped working.
I bet the managers and corporate get their full pay.
Just found out that we are only getting partial pay and the the rest in two weeks. This is unacceptable many of us live paycheck to paycheck and any loss in pay can and will be disaster. How are we to pay bills and feed our families. Those who are full time should be paid their full pay and same for part timers. This was not the employees fault but we are the ones taking the hit.
My 401k contributions and match always show up on Wednesday, and they have not yet, so I'm not holding my breath. Workday is still locked out for me. Considering there has been no communication (at least on my end) as to what's happeneing, I suspect something far more dire is underway. If systems are still fragmented by Friday, I'll be handing in my notice.
Payroll is showing on Work Day.
Disregard my previous comment about the 2 days only being paid. It was a banking error and instead was a delay of a charge by Belk instead.
So far, due the system shut down, my bank account is showing a pending transfer of only 2 hours of work being paid even though I worked several days these past 2 weeks.
I mean they have lost money with fulfillment while it has been down but those orders will come through as soon as the system is back so really they won’t lose money from orders.
I bet a ton of checks will be wrong because I know many associates have not even recorded their hours appropriately. Many were just writing them down on a notepad. How can Belk recover from losing $5 to $8 million a day from fulfillment alone?
I’ll believe it when it happens. If they said we don’t know or payroll will not go through- a large percentage of hourly staff would walk out en mass.
Belk in mobile better pay these people and get this fixed. Managers will not tell anyone what is going on.
Just got an update that associates will be paid out as scheduled this Friday.
