Frankly "Human Energy" is not a fitting description anymore.

Any investors who read the posts on this board and realize the quality level of who they have been hiring recently are sure to dump the stock. Me included.
Saw data today that since 1 week CVX stock has some percentage of "Strong Sell" ,needless to say that's the lowest category , EM does't have this, market may have sniffed something out..
dividend policy is the ki-ler of cvx
consistently upping dividends in a cyclic industry is either a big win or slow death
pandering to shareholders will only result in internal failure of the company
They will pay the dividend until ….they can’t. Then the stock will plummet. Might seriously consider selling some stock. It may seem low now but given oil and gas prices this value isn’t sustainable.
Laying off employees IS NOT PERFORMANCE.
Layoffs won't save CVX.
The institutional investors ARE the inside players hear. MW has clearly communicated that they will absolutely get their dividend, no matter even if they need to hold garage sales down on Louisiana St to raise the money.
The day that dividend money falters is the day that the investors will drop Chevron quickly like a cold tu-d.
There are just under two billion outstanding shares of CVX stock. The majority are held by mutual funds and EFTs, so most people who have a 401k, IRA, other retirement fund, or investment account probably own a piece of CVX. They own it due to share price and dividends. Insiders own 0.02 percent, a rounding error.
Its all about the dividend. Chevron has a bad case of shareholder cancer and management isn't creating any way to deed it except by cutting employees.
PS, MW gets his 19% to play ball with this.
