I fully disagree. The amount of money lost this weekend was far more than what they made from Belk card and cash transactions. And they are always pushing email and credit and neither of those could be done this weekend which also lost them money
Belk had its run. Didn't have a good run since late 90s
I disagree. Belk’s all about money, but the biggest concern of theirs are emails, apps and opening credits. This has affected 2/3 significantly from this. Penetration rates from customer using their Belk cards are the last of there worries right now.
I know Belk is run by id--ts but I doubt this. We lost several fine jewelry sales due to the charge limit and sooo many gift card sales. We lost more than they saved from transaction fees by far. I think we were hacked. Someone probably clicked the docu sign link on the phishing email and crashed the company.
