Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Will DEI be eliminated in the layoffs?

Imagine you are the new CEO. Suppose he doesn't buy into any of the DEI that prior regimes put in place such as quotas for females and URMs, non-binary bathrooms, and ge----o-like DEI compliance officers spying on the organization.

It seems like a layout would be a perfect time to get rid of all of those positions and bad policies and take an even bigger restructuring charge... still some internal 'woke' people will not like this at all. They will leak the information to the press and try and expose the CEO & undermine every one of those cuts.

@1jog+1jub99N1 No lawsuit here. A company can say we no longer need function 'x' and delete all of function 'x' with no consequence. In this case, 'x' = DEI. There certainly is no 'protection' for workers just because their job is DEI.

Sounds like a laysuit and specifically targeting employees who have legal protections. How about target a person's performance.

a manager posted the other day that they only get new reqs if they can find URMs or females. Groups have target % numbers to hit for the classes. Indians don't count for URM but a female Indian would

No chance. DEI is the only thing that is keeping the APB above water.
