Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

Why did OpenText retire the Zix brand?

As an employee that came from Zix, this makes me sad. Zix built a world class email encryption product with brand recognition throughout the cybersecurity sector. Now it under Webroot which is security software that comes as a free trial when you buy a laptop at Best Buy or security software you purchase on Amazon for $19.99. Our email threat protection was never the best, but it was a great view until OpenText stopped investing in it. At OpenText we don’t even us it internally, rather we use ProofPoint. Don’t believe me, go to https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=mx%3aOpenText.com&run=toolpage and see for yourself. So much for OpenText Trusts OpenText.

Back when I worked at OpenText, when we sold Core Signature the customer signed the Ordering Document using DocuSign. Mark has no clue what’s going on under the hood at the company. Being in management is all about spinning the details to Mark’s liking. It’s sad, I think Mark is a good person but has been corrupted being an executive for so long. He is living in a different world from the rest of us. Maybe he’ll move the company to the Metaverse where he can claim the company’s AI is supreme… but back in the real world here is an example of OpenText AI:
