Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

MW: Do as I say, not as I do

As we go through this cycle of saving money and workforce reduction to save $3billion, remember MW contribution to saving money LOL. Nice raise he got on 2024.

He’s in a high rise off of Kirby. He’s not going to make Houston his long term home.

C'mon now. MW has expenses. He's got to move from SR to Houston. Since he's saving money, I can just see him down at the U-Haul center. Once he buys the McMansion, the missus needs to redo flooring and paint and maybe knock down a wall or two. Those appliances that the previous owner left behind are completely unacceptable and won't fit in with the new decor. Let's not forget furniture. All that stuff in the old house needs to go. It has to be brand new. I mean we can't have them be embarrassed when they have all those tea parties. So, let's understand priorities because we're all in this together. He might even need help unloading from U-Haul. Now who's going to volunteer to help out.

Someday MW will have to answer for his actions. There is a higher power that will judge him. While there likely will never be accountability during his tenure for the mess he created, one can only hope that there will be a different accountability eventually. If you are a bad human being, it does catch up to you in the end. Let God review MW’s life and misdeeds, it is not for me to worry about that.

Your six figure salary makes you feel close to homeless? That's all on you. I'm doing fine.

How dare you! Firing thousands of people is super hard to do. How do you expect him to sleep ant night without a Scrooge McDuck sized money pool to swim in. Also, don’t you know we have to save millions going into the next year going into recession? You wouldn’t want our CEO to actually feel any personal financial pressure while outlining 2027 year layoffs with McKinsey. You are selfish for writing this.
