If until now Intel has had little problems releasing products on time, I think that after these cuts, product delays will become much more common... I sincerely hope for a package, so that I can continue to watch this company from a distance.

Intel execution tends to ebb and flow. Things go along great for a few years, then management gets distracted with some new initiative. Execution drops and investors get pi---d. Then ELT does an 'oh sh-t' and re-focuses on the core business again.
New Strategy -> Core Execution Failure -> Panic Fixes -> Layoff -> Re Focus
Wash, Rinse, Repeat
