I came up through Oracle through the BDC world, and it was the most miserable two years of my existence, due to all of the lying, cheating, and backstabbing that happened for monetary gain from 22 year olds.
After two years I was afforded the opportunity to switch roles into what is now my dream job. My point is that I am forever grateful for Oracle, for providing me the ability to have corporate mobility and find my dream job.
I also have met some of the most brilliant personalities, despite none of them having flashy college degrees I.e. no ivy’s.
I absolutely do not think it’s an Oracle problem ; I think the issue in this thread is with your immediate managers being cr-ppy. You can’t make an extrapolation for an entire fortune company based on certain individuals
(I also don’t like Larry Ellison at all so I’m not a bootlicker )
