CVX is clearly delaying a re-org so Hess personnel can take positions. If the plan was to not hire Hess personnel, why not do the re-org a lot sooner….

You want exploration that really only works on Guyana? Sure, when this thing gets approved Exxon will continue to consider the recommendations from the "new" Chevron Exploration team.
A CCP company is on the Arb board. It’s not going through.
lots of advisor roles which are just deadweight to the company
no value add
better off hiring consultants on project basis
It’s taking so long because McK continues to roll out half-formed strategies, then steps back while a small ELP team scrambles to figure out how to make it work. The irony is that many in key roles—across strategy, commercial, comms—are in completely new territory, trying to live up to inflated titles without the experience to back it up. It’s frustrating watching solid employees leave while leadership seems more focused on optics than execution. And just when things start to really fall apart, McK will likely reappear with a “fresh” idea that’s been done elsewhere a decade ago. It’s hard to see a bright future here. Stay if you need to—but don’t fool yourself into thinking those at the top, pulling in millions, truly understand what’s happening on the ground.
Arbitration date wasn’t even agreed to until last week. Timing is a coincidence. Particularly given how uncertain the outcome is - far from a certainty
Dead weight anyone with agile or scrum master or advisor names
Chevron could’ve cut 50% of the workforce and still be okay without skipping a beat
Hess has only 1800 employees. I for one am excited for their exploration team.
You’re making a big assumption on the merger going through. Exxon plays hardball.
Except that sale isn’t going through. Oh and the arb date was only recently set…you wouldn’t time a full company reorg around an unknown date and hope.
But seriously, that bi--h ain’t going through.
Agree. Been at Chevron for 15 years. Quite a few people who don’t do cr-p around here. Ton of dead weight
