Someone out there has to know somebody who's already been notified. If you do, can you please share what kind of severance is being given - if any?

From two colleagues who were laid off in Clinical IT
Unused vacation time is being paid out and 6 months of COBRA
This is going to messy really fast.
Which departments are being let go? Is it more clinical or administrative?
I heard through a friend that they will be offering severance packages but I have no other details.
My management team was asked if we would be receiving severance and the answer was: we don't know yet.
I don't remember the last time I was this worried.
