I wish they would finish layoffs in one day. Spreading it over a few days or even a week only serves to drag out the anxiety and make everyone feel even worse.

Losing sleep? I believe there are meds for people who suffer from this.
Companies are good at dragging this out. Being one of the fallouts in 2018, it is painfull to say the least. They have likely been doing layoffs continuously, this will just be another large layoff. More in the industry to come I am sure.

Yes. They've been firing since February and keeping just shy of the reporting threshold.
I’m sorry you feel that way, but it’s totally understandable. This is a very difficult time for many of our colleagues and not because of them, rather in spite of them .
The leadership failed to even run a crown jewel even moderately well, blowing opportunity and somehow they keep their jobs.
But alas, this too shall pass and I promise you feel find peace with it and end up in a better situation.
A week… this has been going on quietly since February.
