I want to leave, badly. I don’t want to wait to be laid off. I don’t care about severance. I just want to be done with this place. I’ve been searching for months, and I’ve reached the point of pure desperation. I’ve sent out hundreds of resumes and landed a total of two interviews - both for even shittier jobs. I’m starting to think there’s nothing out there.

Yes market is trash but you were at f5. People will respect that and these days word spreads: they’ll understand why you’re gone from the cesspit cult. Lean into the f5 is terrible vibe but ya know, professionally.
Second, volunteer at tech things locally. If you are a security monkey that means attend BSides. Make pals. Buy or be bought beers. Help - eventually your resume will land with someone along with a story about you and you’ll get a real interview.
