Chevron has reported to the state that it intends to layoff 125 people. Are there any guesses where those people are currently situated?

The beatings will continue until the moral improves.
"Chevron remains focused on treating every individual with respect, operating with honesty, and staying true to its foundational belief: that Human Energy is the most valuable resource of all."
This quote is great propaganda and may be sincere from a PGPA perspective but I have seen people get completely mistreated in my 20+ years at Chevron. There is too much control from the middle and upper management for negative impact on good employees. There was a middle manager in my department several years and ago he is a complete racist against everyone that is not his ethnicity (not a Caucasian) . I watched him attack people and destroy careers of people because he did not like and the management above him never questioned him.
One year I went to HR on him and gave my story and they told me they did not need more background because a decision was made to take him out of his role managing 75+ people. about a month later he was placed into the elephant grave yard and he no direct reports. Unfortunately it took Chevron 5+ years to relegate the guy to a position where he could go out gracefully. I think he was here another 4+ years in his last job.
At least they eventually got rid of him.
The epitome of corporate speak.
Chevron is a company built on strong values—integrity, trust, partnership, and protecting people. In times of change, those values matter more than ever.
As the organization evolves to meet the demands of a more competitive and dynamic energy landscape, some elements of the future operating model are still being shaped. Understandably, this has created uncertainty across parts of the business. While specific outcomes are not yet finalized, leadership remains committed to open and transparent communication throughout the process.
This is a period that may bring stress and concern for many. Chevron encourages employees to look after their well-being and to take advantage of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)—a free, confidential resource available to all employees and their families.
Above all, Chevron remains focused on treating every individual with respect, operating with honesty, and staying true to its foundational belief: that Human Energy is the most valuable resource of all. As difficult as change can be, it also opens the door to transformation—building a more agile, competitive, and future-ready Chevron.
More information will be shared as soon as it becomes available. Until then, continued support, professionalism, and care for one another will be the greatest expression of who Chevron truly is.
What job categories? Legal? HSE? Land? ETC
Those are likely a lot of the AEOI people.
It’s in the public WARN notice…Denver.
